BBC's hit TV series, Sherlock, continues to attract fans by the boatload in anticipation for its upcoming third season.
According to Zap2it, a large amount of the loyalists lined the streets of London on Wednesday to witness the cast and the crew hard at work.
BBC America reported that the social networking site, Twitter, is to blame for the massive amount of fans that were present near Gower Street in Bloomsbury.
The network stated that the loyalists were "informed of the location using the social-media site's hashtag, #SETLOCK."
Interestingly enough, the more serious of fans were said to be standing by in large numbers hours prior to the beginning of filming.
Security was reportedly okay with the general public standing by, just as long as they didn't affect the production schedule. Being that both Martin Freeman (Watson) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock)had yet to arrive at that point, it wasn't yet certain whether the two actors' presence would cause a disruption.
