A new guidance counselor will come to Rosewood High in Pretty Little Liars season 4, part 2.

Wes Ramsey (CSI: Miami) is joining the show's cast as a guidance counselor named Jesse, according to a Thursday report by E! Online. Jesse will be introduced in January 2014 when Pretty Little Liars begins the second half of season 4.

Jesse will not be a love interest for any of the main girls and will instead be a calm force in a predominantly dramatic show, according to the report.

The girls, currently in their senior year of high school, will be having trouble in school, according to another report published Thursday. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will be feeling the most pressure from school when PLL comes back in January.

An overachieving new character named Brenda will be introduced and she will have a secret that could help Spencer with her studies. The secret comes at a price, however, as it is in the form of pills.

Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Spoilers: Summer Finale Preview & Red Coat Identity Revealed Soon?

Before any of this happens fans will be treated to one more episode this summer. The summer finale airs Tuesday, Aug. 27, and will feature some new drama between Spencer and Toby. Actor Keegan Allen talked to Wetpaint Entertainment Wednesday about what was ahead for his character and his relationship with Spencer. The pair got into a big argument in the previous episode.

"In the finale, Spencer thinks [Toby] leaves town, but he just doesn't want to talk to her," Allen explained. "He's really hurt. He's kind of gathering himself. He's thinking."

"[Toby] goes into a deep, dark corner and in the finale, he gets information that there might be something with Wren (Julian Morris)," Allen added.

Things will escalate involving the details of Toby's mother's death, eventually resulting in confronting Spencer.

The summer finale of Pretty Little Liars will air Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
