'Bones' Season 9 Spoilers: Pelant To Be Killed Off Within First 6 Episodes? [VIDEO, NEWS]
New spoilers regarding Bones' first six episodes of season 9 were released Thursday.
The first six episodes of the season will air this fall without any repeats in between after which the series will take a brief hiatus. Since Fox covers the Major League Baseball playoffs, Bones will be off the air briefly after Oct. 21.
Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVLine in a Thursday report that fans should expect the sixth episode to be a big one, heavily featuring the serial killer Pelant (Andrew Leeds).
"We wanted to make sure that we leave that first six with a very big episode," Nathan revealed. "I can tell you definitely that Pelant figures in very, very, very, very heavily within the first six episodes. But where he appears and/or vanishes, I can't really say at this point."
Enstars previously reported that series creator Hart Hanson may have inadvertently spoiled Pelant's exit from the show in season 9, so episode 6 may be his big death episode.

While Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are off dealing with Pelant, Hodgins (T. J. Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin) will face problems of their own. Someone will enter Hodgins' life and complicate his relationship with Angela, according to a Tuesday report by TV Line.
"Hodgins is going to have to deal with a new family member," Nathan said, "and that will impact both Hodgins and Angela and their relationship. The way it comes out is such a surprise; it's somebody that he wouldn't know."
