'Sons of Anarchy' Season 6 Spoilers: 'Anarchy Afterword' To Address Premiere, Episode 5 & Finale [TRAILER, NEWS]
FX's hit biker show, Sons of Anarchy will follow in the footsteps of AMC's The Talking Dead, as it has been officially greenlit for a post-episode show titled Anarchy Afterword.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the respective network has ordered three installments of the companion series. Each of the 30-minute episodes will be hosted by Chelsea Lately's Chris Franjola and stream live on FX's website following the show's airing on the East Coast. It will cover the 90-minute premiere, episode 5, and the finale.
For those who miss the shows the first time around, the footage will be kept on FX's website so that those who missed it can catch up.
Interestingly enough, FX CEO John Landgraf told THR that the network is also seriously considering a companion show for Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Coven.
"I'd love to do it. We're thinking about it. If we do it, I don't think we'll necessarily do it the way AMC does, as a linear thing. We might do an online thing. We haven't made a final decision, but I think there's a decent possibility we're going to do something like that for Coven," he said
Sons of Anarchy is set to return for its sixth season on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 10/9 p.m. Central on the FX network. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the program. The latest promo trailer can be watched below.
