'American Horror Story: Coven' Spoilers: Official Plot Synopsis Revealed & Comedian Leslie Jordan Cast [VIDEO]
Fans waiting to learn the exact plot details of American Horror Story season 3 do not have to wait any longer.
FX released the official plot synopsis for American Horror Story: Coven on Tuesday. As previously assumed, the season will involve Salem witches who have fled to New Orleans. They will be facing off against more than just the Voodoo priestesses of New Orleans, however.
The synopsis says that the witches start getting attacked and some of them are sent to a special school to learn how to protect themselves. Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) is a new arrival to town and has to protect a secret of her own. The witches' Supreme leader, Fiona (Jessica Lange) comes back to town after hearing of the violence against her coven of witches, doing whatever it takes to protect her own.
The description does not say anything about Kathy Bates' character Madame LaLaurie, who is said to be the big villain of season 3. Madame LaLaurie was a real-life socialite from the 1800s who tortured and killed black slaves in her home.

In other American Horror Story: Coven news, another veteran actor has been cast on the series. Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace) will be featured in the new season, which he announced on his Facebook page Tuesday. It is unknown what role he will play.
Finally, SpoilerTV released the title for episode 5 of the upcoming season. The episode will be titled Burn, Witch, Burn! This is one of many eccentric titles for the new season's episodes, after episode 1's B----craft, episode 2's Boy Parts, episode 3's The Replacements and episode 4's Fearful Pranks Ensue.
