'Dancing With the Stars' Season 17 Rumors: Gabby Douglas & JC Chasez Joining 2013 Fall Series Lineup? [VIDEO]
Rumors continue to swirl about who will be the celebrities featured on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.
The latest rumor is that Gabby Douglas, the Olympic gymnast who won gold in 2012, will be participating in Dancing With the Stars season 17 this fall. The Twitter account GymCastic tweeted late Wednesday night that multiple sources are claiming Douglas has signed a deal to be a contestant on the upcoming season. Douglas appeared in the audience at Dancing With the Stars in the spring to support fellow gymnast Aly Raisman, who ultimately came in fourth in the competition. She also appeared in season 15 of the show to dance alongside Shawn Johnson in her supersized freestyle dance.
Another rumored participant for the upcoming season is 'N Sync member J.C. Chasez. The singer, who performed at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards in the highly-anticipated 'N Sync reuinion, was featured in the Daily Mail's list Wednesday of celebrities that will be on season 17. As a former boy band member and a judge on MTV's dancing reality competition series America's Best Dance Crew, Chasez will have an advantage over many of his competitors if he is confirmed to be on the new season.
Assuming both Douglas and Chasez are on the list, then the lineup should be almost complete for Dancing With the Stars season 17. Enstars reported Wednesday that sitcom legend Valerie Harper, actress Leah Remini, Jersey Shore star Snooki, media personality Jack Osbourne, Glee actress Amber Riley, actress Elizabeth Berkley, football player Keyshawn Johnson and The Voice co-host Christina Milian would all be on the new season, based on numerous reports.

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham is also rumored to be on the upcoming season and in a recent interview with Enstars she addressed those rumors.
Assuming the series continues to only cast 12 celebrities, the list should be almost complete. However, it is likely that one or two of the women will not be in the cast since there is always a balance of six men and six women.
The official cast of Dancing With the Stars season 17 will be released Wednesday, Sept. 4 on Good Morning America. Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
