Darryl Hannah is set to guest star in the upcoming season of Hawaii Five-O, according to an Access Hollywood report.

Hannah (Splash, Kill Bill) will be playing the role of a deceitful local realtor who has been making some off-the-book deals. It is also being reported that her character will be a bit of a cougar. The actress is expected to appear in one episode of the show.

Some details about how the first episode of season 4 will play out were recently revealed by Broadway World. The first episode of season 4, titled Aloha ke kahi I ke kahi, will see Steve McGarrett and WoFat make a narrow escape from maximum security prison. McGarrett will also break the law so he can find his kidnapped girlfriend Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth). Kono Kalakaua and Adam Noshimuri's secret location in Hong Kong will also be compromised as gunmen storm the headquarters of Five-O.

Chi McBride is also guest starring on the show this season and will have a more prominent role through season 4.

McBride (Pushing Daisies) plays the role of SWAT Captain Lou Grover, a character who appeared on the original 1970s program. It was previously reported that McBride was only scheduled to appear in the first episode of the new season, but judging by the show's promo it seems like his character will make a substantial contribution.

Season 4 will include a number of guest stars, such as Melanie Griffith and Nick Jonas. Griffith will be playing the role of Detective Danny "Danno" Williams' (Scott Caan) mother. Other guest stars include Rumer Willis, Terry O'Quinn, Carol Burnett, Jorge Garcia, Henry Ian Cusick and Rebecca DeMornay.

Season 4 premieres on CBS on Friday, Sept. 27.
