The Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: More Details On The Governor's Prospective Death & Carol's Meatier Role, TRAILER & News
It was recently revealed that actor David Morrissey, who The Walking Dead fans better know as the former dictator of Woodbury, was attached to the upcoming AMC pilot, Line of Sight, and will now take on two roles simultaneously for the network, sparking severe doubt over his future on the zombie series.
While Morrissey's newest role will be that of a National Transportation Safety Board investigator that survives a plane crash, it appears as though he may not be making it out of the apocalyptic world of walkers alive.
Nonetheless, AMC put out the announcement of the actor's new project, which will also have a filming location in Georgia.
"We are huge fans of David Morrissey and are glad he'll be doing double duty for AMC viewers through his work on The Walking Dead and our pilot for Line of Sight both of which are produced in Atlanta."
Speaking of character futures, it seems as thoug Carol, played by Melissa McBride, will be headed in quite the opposite direction of the Governor, as castmate Stephen Zeun (Glen) recently dished to Access Hollywood on Aug. 28 that she's been given more opportunities.
"You know, Melissa has not been given the stuff that she can definitely deserve and pull off and it's definitely gonna come - everyone, I think, this coming season, is gonna be open to sussing out the world and really diving into characters that you haven't really gotten to know," he said.
AMC's The Walking Dead is scheduled to make its return for season 4 on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time. No airdate has yet to be announced for Line of Sight. To get the inside scoop on the program, be sure to check back with Enstars.
