The source added that Lohan enjoyed the NBC show when she previously hosted. The last time the Mean Girls star appeared on the SNL stage was in 2012, but she was criticized for her performance.
"Lohan's a long way from her Disney days, and although last night marked her fourth time hosting SNL, it became clear early on that her range was limited - for most of the show, she was relegated to making faces in the background," Entertainment Weekly wrote in its review that March.

Yet, according to the alleged source, Lohan will now be well-prepared if she decides to sign on for the SNL gig.
"Lindsay is doing really, really well. She is going to business meetings and she's been on time for every single one of them. This is the best I've seen her in years," the source said.
The actress also affirmed her recovery during her post-rehab interview with Oprah Winfrey during a one hour special for Oprah's Next Chapter in August.
