Netflix's House of Cards, which was nominated for nine Emmy's, continues to garner a massive amount of interest for its upcoming sophomore season, which undoubtedly has its fans itching to get their hands on the latest information on the program.

While the show continues to gear up for its next installment, one of its very own cast members have actually gotten the opportunity to step out from in front of the camera and go behind it. According to IndieWire, actress Robin Wright, who dons the role of Claire Underwood, has directed an episode of the series in season 2. The site reported that it's her first time ever being at the helm and away from the cinematic limelight on set.

Notable directors that have directed the Internet series include Fight Club's David Fincher, Glengarry Glen Ross' James Foley, One False Move's Carl Franklin and Batman & Robin's Joel Schumacher

While no air date for House of Cards has yet to be determined, the show is projected to start its second season at some point in early 2014.
