Some new details about the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode were released recently.

After the shocking revelation in the summer finale that Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) could be "A," the show's main villain who caused so many problems for the Liars, fans have speculated on what's next for the show. The next episode, which will air on Oct. 22, will not find the plot advancing that much, according to new reports.

"Because of the nature of the Halloween episode, the mystery of [Ezra] doesn't move forward that much; it's a standalone episode," PLL executive producer Oliver Goldstick explained to TVLine in a Thursday report. "As far as the explosive revelation of [the summer finale], it builds on that without giving you explanations. It builds on Ezra's culpability of being 'A,' but it doesn't explain a lot of questions you'll have as an audience. You have to wait for [season] 4B for that."

Harding talked to E!Online about what would happen in the Halloween episode, revealing some of the plot in the process.

"Mr. Fitz is in Ravenswood. To what extent will be shrouded in mystery," Harding told E!Online in a Thursday report. "There are some parts that are actually legitimately scary, like really scary. So we're going to get the thrills and the fashion and it's going blow people's minds. And we're introducing new characters and all that so it'll be fun."

None of the series cast or crew have revealed whether or not Ezra is definitively "A," but Goldstick told TVLine that viewers are "very close" if they are expecting it to be Ezra.

Pretty Little Liars' Halloween episode, titled Grave New World, will air on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
