Tamar Braxton appeared on ABC's Good Morning America Tuesday, Sept. 3. to promote Love & War and revealed the meaning behind her new album.

Braxton, 36, the reality star of WeTv's Tamar & Vince and Braxton Family Values spoke to host Robin Roberts about how the journey has been up until the release of her album.

"It took about a year to do. And I feel like it's my best work yet," she said. "I know it is."

"Last season in 'Tamar & Vince,' we went through a lot, and I like to say that this is the soundtrack to our relationship, Love and War because everyone experiences love, but sometimes it feels like war," Braxton said.

Braxton, who recently talked about the struggles of being a first-time mom told Roberts that parenting is "going great."

"Logan is the love of my life. He's a great kid and he sleeps all night," she said.

Braxton also looked gorgeous and flaunted her post-baby body in a white shirt and ruffled skirt. She paired the look with black stiletto heels.

Enstars reported earlier that Tamar said she's been getting a lot of help and advice from her family.

"Motherhood is great...I'm loving every moment of it...My mother gives a lot of advice. Toni gives a lot of advice, and I'm making sure I raise my baby to the best of "their" ability (laughs)," Tamar said in an interview.

Braxton's new album is out in stores Tuesday.

The 14 tracks include hit-singles Love and War, The One, and a party anthem, Hot Sugar.

"It's the music that I've always wanted to do," Tamar previously told Rap-Up TV. "It's a true definition of who I am as a person. It's upbeat, it's fun, it's opinionated, it's raw, and it's great."
