While AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, has clearly taken its storylines above and beyond for its fans, the creative brass has made it extremely clear that there are indeed big changes ahead for its upcoming fourth season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the plots set to be thickened is an intensified quest by Michonne's (Danai Gurira) to bring the retreating Governor (David Morrissey) to justice.

"More than any other character. Michonne is driven to find the Governor and find out what's going on with him; where he is, what he may be plotting and bringing him to justice," stated show creator, Robert Kirkman.

To top off the info on Michonne's motives, Morrissey has just signed on to pull double duty and play a lead role on another AMC series called Line of Sight, igniting speculation that he could very well be killed off on his current program. With Michonne on his tail, she just may be the one to oust him.

Carol to receive a beefier role in upcoming season?

AMC's The Walking Dead is scheduled to make its return for season 4 on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time. No airdate has yet to be announced for Line of Sight. To get the inside scoop on the program, be sure to check back.
