'Castle' Season 6 Premiere: Beckett Moving To DC & Will Be Mentored By Rachel McCord? [VIDEO & NEWS]
ABC's Castle will be returning for season 6 with a lot of unanswered questions pertaining to Beckett's (Stana Katic) future, as she must make a decision on a job offer in Washington, D.C. as well as a proposal from the likes of Castle (Nathan Fillion).
According to Wet Paint, it appears as though Beckett will be taking the job in the nation's capital after all, and will become an employee of the federal government.
The site goes on to speculate that Castle's main squeeze will be conflicted with her decision, which is either to be in New York City or broaden her horizons in D.C.
Actress Lisa Edelstein, who will be playing Rachel McCord in season 6, recently spoke to TV Guide about the role her character will play in mentoring Beckett, which will surely affect the latter's relationship with Castle.
"McCord becomes a mentor to Beckett and doesn't quite understand why Castle is hanging around. What McCord's done with her life is really inspiring and tempting to Beckett, but it is also threatening to the way of life Beckett's chosen so far," she said.
ABC's Castle will make its return with Valkyrie on Monday, September 23. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the ABC series. A proposal response teaser that follows season 5's cliffhanger can be viewed below.
