'America's Got Talent' Top 12 Results Recap: Final Six Acts of the Season Revealed [VIDEOS]
America's Got Talent aired its top 12 results show Wednesday night, featuring six acts that advanced to next week's finale.
Dance troupe Chicago Boyz and dancer/mime Kenichi Ebina were sent forward first to hear their results. Host Nick Cannon announced that Ebina would be moving on to the finale. Judge Mel B said she was "very pleased" that Ebina was voted to advance. Chicago Boyz was eliminated from the competition.
Acrobatic dance troupe Innovative Force and singer Cami Bradley were called forward next. Cannon revealed that Bradley would be advancing to next week's finale. Innovative Force was eliminated from the competition. Judge Heidi Klum said Bradley was a "beautiful girl" and deserved to move on.
Comedic hand-balancing duo KriStef Brothers and comedian Taylor Williamson were sent forward next. Cannon announced that Williamson had advanced to the finale. The judges were shocked by the KriStef Brothers' elimination. Stern said he was happy that he would get to see Williamson again next week.
Operatic trio Forte and singer Branden James were called forward next to hear their results. Cannon revealed that Forte was moving on to the finale next week. James was eliminated from the competition.
Ballroom dancers D'Angelo & Amanda and country singer Jimmy Rose were called forward next. Cannon announced that Rose had advanced to the finale. D'Angelo & Amanda were eliminated from the competition. Mel B said that Rose had really grown as a performer.
Finally, shadow theater group Catapult Entertainment and magician Collins Key were sent forward to hear their results. Cannon revealed that Key had advanced to the finale. Stern said that Key advancing to the top 6 was a huge accomplishment.
This means that the following acts will compete in the finale next Tuesday:
Cami Bradley - Singer
Collins Key - Magician
Forte - Opera trio
Jimmy Rose - Country singer
Kenichi Ebina - Dancer/mime
Taylor Williamson - Comedian
The final performance show will air Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
