Maria Menounos Gets 1st Perfect Score in Dancing With the Stars [VIDEO]
Contestant Maria Menounos and her dancing partner Derek Hough scored a perfect 30 on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night.
The couple danced to a vampire-themed Paso Doble routine yesterday during the show's Classical Night. It became the first perfect score of the current season since it began seven weeks ago.
Their performance earned a long standing ovation from the audience.
"You lived it and I loved it. Fantastic," judge Len Goodman said.
The structure of this dance, the way you build the tension to the drama, the storytelling the way you two play together was absolutely spellbinding," judge Bruno Tonioli said of the routine.
Three couples tied a score of 27: William Levy and Cheryl Burke, Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd and Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas.
At risk of elimination is Melissa Gilbert and her partner Maks Chmerkovsky who earned 21 points. Jaleel White and Kym Johnson earned 24 points and Roshon Fegan and his dancing partner Chelsie earned 25 points.
