Assistant Director Owen Granger is going to find himself in quite a bit of danger during the NCIS: Los Angeles 100th episode.

While Granger (Miguel Ferrer) may not be the most beloved NCIS: LA agent - he tends to bring death, secrecy and annoyance whenever he shows up for a case - the Assistant Director usually brings some helpful advancement to the story line. When he appears in the fourth episode, "Reznikov, N," perhaps he will shed a little light on Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) past.

The milestone episode "focuses pretty squarely on Callen, his past and his journey," said series creator Shane Brennan, according to TV Line. However, Granger will be put in "very serious jeopardy" during inquest into Callen's history.

"Spoiler...watch for a dangerous and exciting sequence where Granger is hurt in E504-100 #NCISLA #staytuned," tweeted Executive Producer John Peter Kousakis.

Although the details of Granger's distress have not been disclosed, hopefully it won't involve Sam Hanna's (LL Cool J) car. Normally very possessive over his vehicle, Sam will allow (perhapse unknowingly) both Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Granger to drive his prized possession during season 5.

"Granger drove the Challenger yesterday. Bet you didn't see that coming," Ferrer told his followers during filming for the 100th episode.

Considering Sam won't even allow Callen to get behind the wheel of his baby, there's no telling how he'll react to having someone he doesn't trust taking it for a spin.

NCIS: LA returns to CBS on Sept. 24. Meanwhile, check out a snippet of Granger's heated relationship with Callen and Co. in the video below.
