Kylie Jenner Kendall Jenner Salaries: 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Stars Net Six-Figures For OPI Nail Before They Turned 16
A new report revealed the Jenner sisters- Kendall and Kylie-were not only born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but they had already earned six figures before they were 16.
Radar Online obtained a copy of a legal document from an attorney for the Jenner sisters that was filed in a Los Angeles Court in January 2012.
The attorney, Robert N. Pafundi of Pafundi Law Fir, provided the details of the contract between the Jenner sisters and their older Kardashian sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe with O.P.I. nail polish company.
According to the petition, OPI Nail Polish company agreed to pay $600,000 to be split six ways among the five sisters for the Kardashian Kolor nail polish line. That means each sister netted at $120,000 each. Additionally, they would each earn a percentage of profit sales for the items that featured their names.
The document revealed the reality stars had to appear at only one media press junket that year, be photographed at one photo shoot and promote the products on Twitter and other social media networks only two times during the year, according to the papers.
The Jenner and Kardashian sisters, however, did not have creative control. They had no approval rights over the color or name of the products, according to the contract.
O.P.I agreed to share ideas with their momager Kris Jenner to "approve or disapprove all materials on their behalf."
Kylie has two nail lacquers from the Nicole O.P.I nail polish brand called "Wear Something Spar-kylie" and "Rainbow in the S-kylie". Rainbow in the S-kylie is reportedly the best seller in the whole Kardashian Kolor nail polish line.
The Jenner sisters launched their clothing line, "Kendall & Kylie" a collaboration with Pac Sun earlier this year.
Their mother, Kris Jenner, successfully negotiated a $40 million deal with E! for three more seasons of their hit reality show in April 2012 for her entire family. The contract expires after the E! network films and airs Season 9 of KUTWK and its spinoffs in 2015.
TMZ reported on April 24, 2012 Jenner renewed the contract for E!'s most successful reality TV show franchise for 3 more seasons for the same hefty sum at the time. The deal is considered the highest paid in reality TV history, TMZ reported. The contract does not include money the family can earn from product endorsements that the Kardashians and Jenners earn separately outside of the show.
