'NCIS' Season 11 Spoilers: Ziva David Replacement? Emily Wickersham Joins Cast
Emily Wickersham is set to join the cast of NCIS for three episodes, according to TV Line. She is the "potential successor" of Cote de Pablo's character Ziva David, who will no longer appear on the show after this season.
The actress will play Bishop who is described as "a bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward new agent. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism. She's traveled extensively, but only feels comfortable at home."
Wickersham, who appeared in the final season of The Sopranos, is expected to appear in season 11 sometime in November. However, she won't be the only new face on the show. The third episode of the upcoming season will introduce a woman in her 50s who is close to retirement, according to a previous TV Line report. The character has known Leroy Jethro Gibbs from the time Mike Franks was the head of Major Case Response Team.
"So we're going to bring in people like that and have some fun with different characters," Executive Producer Gary Glasberg told the news outlet about season 11. "And then, hopefully, when people are comfortable enough, one will walk in and be The One."

Another new character is Timothy McGee's love interest named Delilah. Her character could even appear on the show more than once. She is described as a "perky, smart, eccentric and downright lovable computer wonk at the Department of Defense." There's no word, however, on who will play the character.
Season 11 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 8/7 p.m. Central on CBS.
