'Glee' Season 5 Spoilers: Naya Rivera Made Out with Demi Lovato to Prepare for Upcoming Episodes? [VIDEO]
Glee star Naya Rivera revealed what it was like to have Demi Lovato as a love interest in a recent interview.
Lovato is guest starring on Glee in multiple episodes of its upcoming fifth season, playing Dani, a struggling artist from New York City. She eventually becomes Santana's (Rivera) love interest.
"She's awesome and we're having a blast and we're so happy to have her," Rivera told Access Hollywood Tuesday. The actress revealed her strategy in getting her and Lovato to be a convincing couple.
"I made out with her like in my trailer before we shot the scene. So then I just like warmed her up. You know what I'm saying," Rivera revealed, laughing. Rivera also revealed that her real-life boyfriend Big Sean joked that he was jealous.

Lovato will first appear in episode 2 of the new season, titled Tina in the Sky with Diamonds. Fox released promotional photos for the episode Tuesday; one of them features Rivera on a swing while the other features her smiling and holding a box of yeast infection medication. Other photos feature the students at McKinley High dressed in shimmering bandleader costumes.
Another photo features the debut of Phoebe Strole as Penny, the new school nurse. She is also a new love interest for Sam (Chord Overstreet), who is seen in the photo looking like he's in great pain. See the photos here.

Tina in the Sky with Diamonds will air on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on Fox. The premiere episode will air on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the same time.
