‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Premiere: Ted & The Mother's Commonalities Take Center Stage In Episode 1? [Sneak Peak Videos]
New spoilers have emerged for the final premiere episode of CBS' How I Met Your Mother.
According to E's TV Scoop, the episode, previously revealed to be titled The Locket, involves a jam-packed 30 minutes including scenes of Cristin Miliotti's 'The Mother.'
In the column, a fan asked about a previous article where E! revealed that Alyson Hannigan's character Lily would be the first to meet the new character, and was wondering what they could reveal about the scene in particular.
"We think you mean to say scenes, as in more than one," Nora from the column responded. "Get pumped, HIMYM fans, because you will be treated to a whole lotta, The Mother in the first 30 minutes when season nine premieres. Not only is she a fantastic baker, we learn in a short amount of time that The Mother has an insane amount of things in common with our beloved Ted-including a love of silly road-trip detours and leather driving gloves. All of this may sound random now, but once you watch the episode, it'll make perfect sense, we promise."
CBS also posted four new preview clips for the episode on their website Wednesday, which show the issues that will effect each character as they all make their way to Farhampton.
Two of the clips include scenes of Ted and Lily driving to the wedding, and include when Lily gets fed up with his detours and tells him to just drop her at the train station. These clips set Lily up for her meeting 'The Mother' first.
A third clip shows Marshall's much-reported about scene on a plane from Minnesota, where he gets into a fight with the woman sitting next to him-guest star Sherri Shepard. The clip below shows a scene which leads up to his argument.
The final clip shows Robin and Barney finding out some possibly disturbing news which could halt their wedding plans all together.
How I Met Your Mother premieres Monday Sep. 23rd at 8:00 PM on CBS
