'The Young and the Restless' Episode Recap: Will Nick Lose Avery to Dylan?
On the Sept. 20 episode of The Young and the Restless, Dylan continues to have war flashbacks as he clings to baby Connor.
At the cabin, Dylan is about to hand Avery the baby when Adam bursts in.
Avery says she's the only one who can get through to Dylan, who eventually ducks and covers Connor. As Avery keeps pleading for him to give her the baby, Dylan suddenly snaps out of it.
Adam quickly grabs his son and leaves with Chelsea.
Avery reassures Dylan everything will be okay, but he says there's nothing for him anywhere. He sobs, "I lost my son."
At the tackhouse, Nick talks to Summer and says he believes he has lost Avery for good, and they'll never get married. Nick is upset that Avery chose to help Dylan instead of being on time for their wedding.
When Sharon arrives at the tackhouse, Nick has smashed a bunch of framed photos. Sharon says she knows what he's feeling and says she's there for him.
At Chelsea's place, Adam tells her to pack a bag because he's taking Connor with him. She pleads with him and says he can't take her baby from her.
"Watch me," he replies.
