Fox's historical-supernatural-procedural hybrid, Sleepy Hollow, returns tonight with its second episode and the promise that things are going to get a whole lot scarier.

Titled "Blood Moon," the episode revolves around the idea that the quiet town of Sleepy Hollow is actually a paranormal hotspot serving as the gate for the arrival of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. However, before Headless (also known as Death) can be reunited with his three buddies, the town will see the appearance of quite a few different types of creepy evil.

New promos for the episode discuss an array of coming problems for the once-dead Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and his 21st-century detective partner Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie). As an 18th-century witch roams the town under the Blood Moon, Crane will dig into Mills' past supernatural experiences and seek out her sister in order to puzzle out what their joint vision means, according to Spoiler TV. Meanwhile, Officer Andy Brooks (John Cho) will return despite his recent death while Crane will reveal that there was a lot more behind the Boston Tea Party than history textbooks reveal.
