The wait is almost over as fans of The CW's hit TV series, Beauty and the Beast, continue to eagerly await the program's return for its sophomore season.

The season 2 premiere will kick off three months after Vincent was nabbed by Muirfield. While being held captive, he's transformed into a different beast with brand new abilities.

Meanwhile, Catherine has spent almost every waking moment on a quest to find him. Her fixation on locating Vincent has negatively affected her relationships with everyone else in her life.

Although Catherine doesn't exactly have the best relationship with her sister, it turns out that her biological father, Agent Reynolds, was the man behind Vincent's abduction. He continues to be Catherine's unknown adversary in the process.

While Agent Reynolds doesn't want to hurt her, he's extremely loyal to the superhuman project.

The daughter versus project conflict will undoubtedly continue to pique the interest of fans, especially if he's forced to make a direct choice.
