The list of guest stars hitting up the How I Met Your Mother set for its final season has grown by another additional star.

Lin Manuel-Miranda, the writer and star of Broadway's In the Heights, will be joining the cast for at least one episode.

Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, the show's co-creators, both tweeted the news.

Bays tweeted: "Here's another bit of #HIMYM casting propaganda: A guest appearance by out good friend @Lin_Manuel Miranda!"

Thomas's tweet read, "So excited to have @Lin_Manuel joining us on #HIMYM-meant to be!"

Miranda is also not the first cast member to come from a theater background, according to cartermatt.com. Neil Patrick Harris, who has played Barney Stinson for all nine seasons, has been on Broadway himself, and has been the Tony Awards host four times. Cristin Miliotti, who joined the cast this season as the iconic "mother" role, hails from Broadway's Once, where she played "Girl."

What role Miranda will play on the show hasn't been revealed so far.

How I Met Your Mother airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
