'Homeland' Season 3 Spoilers: Carrie & Maggie Mathison's Dramatic Moments [EXCLUSIVE] Following Premiere Episode, VIDEO
Season 3 of Homeland will include some powerful scenes with sisters Carrie and Maggie Mathison.
Actress Amy Hargreaves, who plays Carrie's older sister, told EnStars fans can expect to see more family interaction than they did in season 2.
"Maggie will always be there for Carrie and you'll see that actually next week," Hargreaves said during Animal Fair's Bark Business Tour on Monday. "She'll drop everything to go help her if she needs to but at the same time she needs to maintain her own life and if Carrie's making her bed she has to lie in it."
Maggie's sincere concern for Carrie (Claire Danes) and the rest of her family affects her on a personal level. With two daughters of her own and a career as a psychiatrist, Maggie sometimes finds herself struggling to please everyone.
"Maggie does her best to take care of as many people in the family as she can," Hargreaves said. "She needs to maintain her career and her private life."

Hargreaves also said that fans can expect to see her in the season finale, which she will film next week in North Carolina.
During the season 3 premiere on Sept. 29, Carrie was interrogated by Chairman Lockhart and his committee for the bombing at Langley, Va., which killed 219 people in the season 2 finale. After the bomb was linked back to Congressman Nicholas Brody's car, Carrie helped him escape to Canada.
"Well, what if I told you I don't think he did it," Carrie told them about the government official. "I don't think Brody knew the bomb was in his car."
Brody remains at large while Carrie's future as a CIA agent seems grim.
