'NCIS: LA' LL Cool J Talks One Direction, Twerking, and Beat Boxing on 'Ellen' VIDEO
With season 6 of NCIS: Los Angeles now officially underway, LL Cool J had a little time to head over to Ellen to talk beat boxing and One Direction.
The actor/rapper made an appearance this summer at the Teen Choice Awards where he was voted Choice TV Actor for Action. His daughter, who came along for the show, were excited to meet One Direction, and much to their joy they were seated right in front of the British band.
However, when Harry Styles started twerking, LL Cool J wasn't quite so excited about the seating arrangements.
"I was sitting near them and my daughter got an autograph and took a photo and it was all good until one of the kids from the group started twerking in my face," the 45-year-old actor said as Ellen Degeneres showed a picture of his shocked and confused face as Styles starts the infamous dance move.
The talk show host also had a video of one of the rappers early performances, footage from 1985 a concert in Maine.
"That was the first time I ever went outside of New York," LL Cool J said after laughing his way through the short clip. "This was my first time performing for people who look different than the people in my neighborhood [and] I looked very different from the people in their neighborhood."
LL Cool J then closed out the segment with a little live beat boxing.
The actor can currently be seen on CBS in NCIS: LA on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
