Ziva David said farewell to her NCIS crew on Tuesday and shared a very emotional moment with Tony DiNozzo.

The episode opened with Tony (Michael Weatherly) on his way to Tel Aviv, Israel to find his beloved Ziva (Cote de Pablo). While his quest wasn't easy, Tony finally found her in her homeland.

The episode also gave fans a closer look into Ziva's past, one that she is running from. Notably, fans saw a list the NCIS agent made as a child, which displayed her once future dreams.

Her list contained the following: "Be a ballerina, ride a horse, live in a castle, visit Ireland and America, have a boy and a girl."

The reason for her departure is also revealed. Ziva desires to forget a painful incident from her past, which involves her childhood friend, Deena Bashan. Deena almost married Ziva's brother Ari, before the NCIS agent killed him.

"How can I not think that for every man I killed there's someone out there crying for him," Ziva told Tony. "Deena blamed me. I thought that by going back to these places I would somehow erase all of that but each stop just made it clearer. She was right. The center of all this pain is me."

Ziva also admitted that she isn't happy with who she is but Tony encourages her to move forward. She then created a new list of aspirations and the first thing on it is to let go of her badge. Before the two parted ways, Tony attempted to make Ziva change her mind.

"Listen you can bag groceries for all I care, just come home. I just want you to come home with me," a teary-eyed Tony told her. "Listen, I know it's hard and I know you want to change. I can change with you. I'm fighting for you Ziva."

However, she doesn't give in to his request. Instead, she revealed her goal to make their co-worker, Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), proud because he taught her to follow her heart.

"I have to do this alone. I have to let go of everything or I will be pulled back to where I started," she explained to Tony.

The two shared a passionate kiss and before he boarded his plane, Tony told Ziva, "This is not easy. Hardest 180 of my life."
