'Survivor: Blood vs. Water' Episode 3 Spoilers: Controversial Castaway Quits the Game & Surprising Blindside [VIDEO & News]
One of the castaways surprised everyone and quit the game in episode 3 of Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
Galang Tribe: Aras Baskauskas, Colton Cumbie, Gervase Peterson, Kat Edorsson, Laura Boneham, Laura Morett, Monica Culpepper, Tina Wesson and Tyson Apostol
Tadhana Tribe: Brad Culpepper, Caleb Bankston, Ciera Eastin, Hayden Moss, John Cody, Katie Collins and Vytas Baskauskas
Redemption Island Inhabitants: Candice Cody, Marissa Peterson and Rachel Foulger
The episode began with Colton worried that he was becoming a target with his tribe. Though Aras assured him to enjoy his time in the game, Colton did not feel any better.
The castaways then gathered for the next Redemption Island duel. Tyson saw that the Tadhana tribe had voted out his girlfriend Rachel, and said he knew they did it so that he would switch places with her and potentially get eliminated from the game. Rachel assured Tyson not to take her place and he followed her wishes.
Colton started crying and said that he couldn't take being in the game anymore. After being grilled by host Jeff Probst, Colton removed himself from the game.
Candice, Marissa and Rachel participated in the Redemption Island challenge, which involved them placing blocks on platforms in the hopes of creating a domino effect. The first two castaways to knock down their blocks all the way through the platform would be safe from elimination. Candice was first to knock down her blocks followed by Marissa. This meant that Rachel was officially eliminated from the game.
Back at camp, John and Brad went off to look for the clue to the hidden Immunity Idol, but were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Tyson was upset about Rachel being eliminated but vowed to go onward without her.
The castaways then participated in the Immunity Challenge, which involved them facing off in one-on-one matchups. They wielded duffel bags in the hope of knocking their opponent off the platform and into the water. The first tribe to five would win Immunity. Though the competition was close, Galang wound up winning the challenge - their third in a row.
Before Tribal Council, the men alliance agreed that either Ciera or Katie would be next to go home. However, when John left the discussion, Brad plotted to get him out instead. Hayden and Vytas were surprised and plotted to potentially get Brad out.
The Tadhana tribe then went to Tribal Council to vote out yet another member. John was blindsided by a vote of 6-1 and sent to Redemption Island. He will face off against Marissa as well as his wife Candice in the next Redemption Island duel.
