'Glee' Season 5 Spoilers: Cory Monteith Memorial Episode Song List Leaked? [VIDEO]
The track list for Glee's special Cory Monteith memorial episode was leaked by a blog Thursday.
MJsBigBlog released a list of tracks that will be performed by the Glee cast in episode 3. The episode features the characters reacting to the death of Finn, Monteith's character on the show.
Here is the alleged track list:
1. Seasons of Love, from the musical Rent
2. I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders (to be performed by Amber Riley's Mercedes)
3. Fire and Rain by James Taylor
4. If I Die Young by The Band Perry (performed by Naya Rivera's Santana)
5. No Surrender by Bruce Springsteen
6. Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan (performed by Lea Michele's Rachel).
Rachel's performance of Make You Feel My Love will be the character's only scene in the episode. Rachel's relationship with Finn has been at the heart of Glee since the beginning of the series. The scene may have extra poignancy considering Michele and Monteith were in a relationship in real life.
The songs will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The episode, titled The Quarterback, features Finn's mother Carole (Romy Rosemont), stepfather Burt (Mike O'Malley) and stepbrother Kurt (Chris Colfer) coming together as a family to grieve Finn's death. Puck (Mark Salling) will return to McKinley High and make a life-changing decision after the death of Finn, his longtime best friend.
