'Orange Is The New Black' Season 2 Spoilers: Piper To Get A Reduced Role & Netflix Series Going Ensemble Route? [VIDEO]
Netflix's hit series, Orange Is The New Black, continues to garner its fans' attention for its upcoming sophomore season, as showrunner Jenji Kohan was recently on hand at New York's PaleyFest on Wednesday to do press.
Kohan spoke to TV Guide on Oct. 2 about what fans can expect from Piper (Taylor Schilling), who beat up Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning) at the end of season 1.
"I think Piper will be a little shaky. I think she survives by her behavior and I think there were consequences to her behavior," she said.
While the showrunner refused to dish on whether the program would jump ahead in time for season 2, she did say that the storyline dynamic moving forward will be more spread out, which could mean a reduced role for Piper.
"It's becoming much more of an ensemble. As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody's journey," Kohan said.
Orange Is The New Black will kick off its second season at some point in 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series. A preview video can be watched below.
