NBC has announced that The Blacklist will receive a full season.

Introducing FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boon) and Raymond 'Red' Reddington (James Spader), a government agent turned criminal, the new crime drama premiered to over 12 million viewers.

After Reddington decided to turn himself in to the authorities, the dangerous mastermind refused to speak to anyone but Keen. Week by week Red reels off the locations and names of numerous wanted criminals while Keen works to hunt them down.

In the meantime, Keen must also figure out why Reddington wants to speak only to her, uncover her husbands secret identity, and combat her coworkers suspicious regarding her relationship to Reddington.

"With great talent like James Spader and Megan Boone on board, as well our stellar executive producers and the whole cast and crew, we believe this outstanding series will continue to make NBC a big destination on Monday nights."

Keen will be chasing down a Chinese spy that when The Blacklist airs its third episode, "Wujing," on Monday at 10 p.m.
