'Bates Motel' Season 2 Spoilers: First Teaser Trailer Released Featuring Norman Practicing Taxidermy [VIDEO]
The first trailer for season 2 of Bates Motel was released Monday, featuring a potential glimpse into what's ahead for Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore).
The 25-second trailer features Norman at a table sewing various items together and practicing his taxidermy hobby. Some of the items featured on the table include human teeth, dead birds and seemingly human skin. His finished product is a model of the Bates Motel that he owns with his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga).
The trailer is scored to Guilty by Billie Holiday, providing a shocking contrast to Norman's behavior. At the end of the trailer, there is a title screen indicating that the series will return for season 2 in 2014.

Season 2 of Bates Motel will introduce a slew of new characters, including George (Michael Vartan), a recent divorcee who might become Norma's love interest, Christine (Rebecca Creskoff), George's sister who befriends Norma and Caleb (Kenny Johnson), Norma's brother.
In other Bates Motel spoiler news, new photos were taken from the set recently by unofficial photographers. The photos feature Emma (Olivia Cooke) getting out of her car on a pier and meeting up with Dylan (Max Thieriot). Emma drags her oxygen tank behind her and appears to be paranoid about other people seeing her. Meanwhile, Dylan appears to be hurt as his face has bruise markings.
Season 2 of Bates Motel is set to premiere in 2014 on A&E though a specific date has not yet been announced.
