NCIS: Los Angeles' Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) is back at work in this week's "Omni."

A new sneak peek (see video below) from the CBS drama shows the LAPD Detective returning to the NCIS offices for the first time since his brief visit at the end of the premiere episode.

While Hetty (Linda Hunt) appears to have known he was returning and placed a package on his desk for him (no it's not 'the box'), Deeks doesn't seem to have decided whether or not he will be staying.

"His trauma is such that he has to deal with that. That trauma causes Deeks a lot of physical and mental pain," said series creator Shane Brennan, according to Xfinity. "For Kensi, that is a terrible thing to watch your partner go through. On top of that is the kiss. He has to resolve the issues from the torture before they resolve the elephant in the room, which is the kiss. Ultimately, they do, and things look like they will be getting back to normal, but they don't."

Fans have already been warned that the partners will split up around midseason, possibly so that Kensi can fulfill her role in the Afghanistan storyline that was recently shot, and Brennan has stated that the end of the season will also bring a major change for the pair.

While Densi fans stress about the fate of the two agents, fans can get a laugh from another recently released clip from "Omni." In this scene, Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) discus whether or not the former Navy SEAL needs a makeover and if skinny jeans are something that should be worn by any man, let along by Sam.

"Omni" will see the team attempt to figure out who killed a biotech executive and compromised a vaccine while Kensi takes to the racetrack at Irwindale Speedway. Check out a gallery of behind the scene photos from filming here.
