'The Bachelorette' 2013 Season 9 Star Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried Starting A Family? Tweets Adoption Plans
Desiree Hartsock has her fans in a tizzy after expressed her desire start a family with fiancé Chris Siegfried.
She wrote on Twitter on Sept. 29 that she was considering adopting.
Hartsock, however, had something different in mind from what Bachelorette fans might expect-- she was actually just considering getting a puppy.
She wrote on the social media site: "Might end up with puppy after tonight! Or at least a good laugh. #dogadoption #rescue #standupforpits @TheRebeccaCorry Comedy for a cause."
Hartsock shared the news while attending the Stand Up For Pits Foundation comedy event in Tacoma, Wash. The organization raises money to support awareness about abuse with pit bulls.

Hartsock has been quietly settling into life in Seattle, Siegfried's hometown. She moved there in September after their engagement was announced during the season finale that aired in August.
They released Siegfried's first poetry book, titled Diamonds & Hearts- A Poetic Memoir, on Aug. 23.The electronic book features 44 poems including some written by Hartsock and a synopsis the couple wrote together.
Two weeks later, she revealed on Twitter she was launching wedding planning blog and asked her followers to submit questions.
"Brides to be! Please Tweet me all your bridal and wedding planning questions to be answered in my blog to come! use #DHadvice XO" she wrote.
As for wedding plans, the 26-year-old bridal designer and stylist told E! News that they have not set a date for their wedding.
"We've talked about it and we've discussed next summer. Not a specific date yet," Hartsock said in August. "If we can have [that and a televised wedding], that would be great for people to share in our love. We'll see when the time comes."
Hartsock later told People that if it were up to her, she would wed Seigfried sooner than later.
"We don't need to wait. I could marry Chris tomorrow!"
