Staring Monk's Tony Shalhoub, the half hour comedy proved to be exponentially less successful than the stars previous crime drama. Premiering to only 6.6 million viewers, We Are Men saw a drop in viewers when it moved into its second week on Monday nights, according to the USA Today.
Now faced with an open 8:30 p.m. slot, CBS is planning on bumping 2 Broke Girls from their 9 p.m. position and slide it into the now vacant earlier opening, according to Entertainment Weekly. Meanwhile, The Big Bang will air repeats at 9 p.m. before the 9:30 showing of the networks other freshman comedy, Mom. Starting in November, Mike and Molly will return.
We Are Men joins ABC's Lucky 7 in the trash as the first few shows of the Fall season to be condemned.
On the flip side, NBC, ABC, and Fox have all seen at least one new show receive breakout success. ABC's Marvel's Agents of SHIELD brought in over 11 million viewers for its 8 p.m. premiere while the peacock's The Blacklist has already been ordered to season. Fox's Sleepy Hollow proved so successful that it already has a season 2 renewal in the bag.
