'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: Beckett To Lounge At Castle's Home In Upcoming Installments Amid D.C. Firing? [VIDEO & Details]
With Beckett (Stana Katic) being let go from the team in Washington, D.C., many fans of ABC's Castle are undoubtedly wondering what will be next for Castle's (Nathan Fillion) fish out of water fiance.
While Beckett clearly has the qualifications and skill set to land a job somewhere, Carter Matt reported that a return to the NYPD isn't necessarily a guarantee.
Katic recently spoke to TVLine about her character's less than ideal predicament, which she says will be indirectly remedied by none other than Castle (Nathan Fillion).
"She's defined herself so much by [her work] ... I don't know [now if she'll become a] homebody, I don't know about housewife.... But Castle in this next episode inadvertently helps her find that definition [of who she is] once again. As he always does - inadvertently," she said.
Due to leaked information, Beckett had gotten fired from her new job in D.C., which has surely send her character in a different direction.
When the CIA told the NYPD to close its murder investigation out of fear of tipping off its Russian targets, Beckett still gave away important info to Castle and company, ultimately leading to her removal
