American Horror Story fans only got a taste of Frances Conroy's Myrtle in the Coven premiere, but there will be more to come from the orange-haired witch.

Viewers will discover that Myrtle and Supreme witch Fiona (Jessica Lange) have a complicated history dating back to when they were in high school. Their relationship was not shown in the season premiere, but co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed to reporters this week that there would be an entire episode dedicated to them.

"She's truly [Fiona's] nemesis," Murphy said of Myrtle. "There's an entire episode where we show she and [Fiona] when they were 18 at the school and why they became bitter rivals,"

Fiona "was very deadly even as an 18 year old," Murphy continued. "She's really, really funny and very specifically stylish and odd." It is thus far unknown when this flashback episode will occur.

Lange and Conroy have had interesting relationships in the previous two incarnations of American Horror Story. In the first season, Lange's character Constance killed Conroy's character Moira when she was younger after discovering Moira was having an affair with her husband.

In American Horror Story: Asylum, Conroy played The Angel of Death, a spirit that came to usher dying mental patients into death. Lange's character Sister Jude confronts The Angel of Death at several points throughout Asylum.

American Horror Story: Coven airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
