HBO released a preview clip for episode 7 of Boardwalk Empire, one which looks to set the intensity bar higher that its been so far in season 4.

The drama will take place all over the map as characters in Chicago, New York, Atlantic City, and even Tampa are all set to be affected by the events that will play out on screen, according to Hollywood Hills. The clip for William Wilson shows Agent Knox (Brian Geraghty) using his second chance to take down Nucky after his failure to succeed with the help of Eddie Kessler (Anthony Laciura), who committed suicide instead.

"I would like you to confirm that Nucky Thompson is the linchpin of a nationwide conspiracy," he said in the footage.HBO released a synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads as follows:

"Eli (Shea Wigham) confronts Nucky (Steve Buscemi) after Willie (Ben Rosenfield) makes an unpopular decision. Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) has a surprise encounter at her job on Wall Street. Joe Masseria (Ivo Nandi) orders Lucky Luciano (Vincent Piazza) to return to Tampa and deal with Vincenzo Petrucelli (Vincenzo Amato). Gillian (Gretchen Mol) goes cold turkey with Roy Phillips' (Ron Livington) help. Still seething over his brother's death, Al Capone (Stephen Graham) tries to get Johnny Torrio (Greg Antonacci) to turn on rival gangster Dean O'Banion (Arron Shiver). As the relationship between Chalky (Michael k. Williams) and Daughter Maitland deepens, Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) exerts his control over Dunn Purnsley (Erik LaRay Harvey) and the Northside."
