Eminem 'Saturday Night Live' With Kerry Washington, 'Berzerk' Rapper & 'Scandal' Actress on Show Nov. 2 Ahead of 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' Release Date [VIDEO]
Eminem will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live for the sixth time in November.
The 40-year-old rapper will appear on the show on Nov. 2, according to TV Line on Wednesday. Joining him will be actress Kerry Washington, who will host the episode. The upcoming segment will mark the first time the Scandal actress appears on the comedy show.
Eminem Set To Perform At YouTube Music Awards
The week before Washington's debut, Edward Norton will also make his first appearance as a host. Janelle Monae will join him as the musical guest on the Oct. 26 episode.
Unlike Washington, Eminem has been on the show several times before. The rapper first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1999 where he performed Forgot About Dre along with Dr. Dre. A year later, he made a solo appearance for his performance of Stan and The Real Slim Shady. In 2002, he performed Without Me and in 2004 he hit the stage for Mosh and Just Lose It. He also appeared on the late-night comedy show for the fifth time in 2010 to perform No Love with Lil' Wayne and Won't Back Down.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 Tracklist
It's safe to assume that Eminem will perform one of his latest singles from his upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
The rapper has released several singles from the record thus far, including Survival and Rap God. The album's lead single Berzerk, was also released in late August and it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The tune went to No. 2 on Digital Songs and topped the Rap Songs chart that first week.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be Eminem's first release since 2010's Recovery. That record, which went multi-platinum and rose to No. 1 on Billboard, features the hits Not Afraid and the Rihanna collaboration Love The Way You Lie.
The new album hits stores three days after the Saturday Night Live episode airs.
