The CW television network has confirmed that it will be renewing America's Next Top Model for another cycle, this will be the show's 21st chapter.

While no other details were revealed, CW suggested that it will make an announcement about the production start date and premiere soon. Tyra Banks will be helming the show and executive producing it with Ken Mok (Making the Band). Like the current cycle, the new season will be open to both male and female contestants.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood Live, Banks revealed that she was open to adopting children.

"I will have children, whether they come out of me or come to me," Banks said. "I'm open to [adopting]. I'm definitely open."

She also said that she'd been wanting to that "before it became cool."

Banks went on to elucidate her point by rewinding to the time when she was only 9 years old and had already made up her mind about adoption.

"Since I was 9 years old, I'd be like, 'Mommy! I want a baby, but it don't have to be my baby and I can take it from over there and I can raise the baby'," she said. "[My mom was] like, 'That's called adoption', and I'm like, 'Yeah, mommy, I want to do that'. So, since I was 9."
