The second season of Bates Motel will include more features from Psycho, the movie on which the series is based.

The fruit cellar featured at the end of the 1960 horror classic Psycho will be recreated on Bates Motel in the upcoming season, according to a new report by TV Guide. The cellar will become Norman's (Freddie Highmore) new taxidermy work station.

"There are many creepy things down there," Highmore told TV Guide recently. The first trailer for season 2 featured Norman at his station creating a model of the Bates Motel out of animal parts.

"It makes Norma utterly uncomfortable, as most mothers would be," said Vera Farmiga, referring to her character on the series. Norman will be working on a large project with his taxidermy in the season 2 premiere. "It's not human," executive producer Carlton Cuse assured. "Not yet. We're taking baby steps."

Another unsettling element making its debut next season is the introduction of Norma's brother Caleb, played by Kenny Johnson (Sons of Anarchy).

"I come on as Norma's brother, Caleb, who used to have sex with her through their childhood," Johnson explained to TVLine recently. "Which is kind of weird, yeah. So that's really a comfortable thing to get into!" Norma revealed her shocking incest past to Norman in the season 1 finale.

Season 2 of Bates Motel will return in 2014, though a specific premiere date has not yet been scheduled by A&E.
