Netflix's hit series, Orange Is The New Black, continues to garner anticipation for its upcoming sophomore season.

According to Kubby TV, principal actress Taylor Schilling spoke about her character Piper Chapman's struggles behind bars, and strategies she can use to cope with the respective ordeal.

"You can't survive on your own in prison. You have to be connected to people. You have to be connected to people in the right ways, and that's why I think it's such a fascinating place for dramatic purposes because you can't be an island in prison," she said.

While on the topic of surviving the slammer, the 29-year-old actress also took the opportunity to dish on what she feels it will take for Piper to make it out of jail in one piece.

"You've got to have alliances, and you've got to have alliances with the right people, and not the wrong people. It's driven by relationships," Schilling added.

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black is set to make its return for season 2 at some point in 2014. The program is currently in production in New York. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series.
