Netflix's Orange Is The New Black continues to build speculation over the release date of its upcoming sophomore season.

Actress Taylor Schilling, who dons the lead role of Piper Chapman on the popular series, had given an interview at the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) Foundation.

While the 29-year-old didn't get into the finer details on what's to come, she did give her thoughts on the buzz surrounding Laura Prepon's (Alex) likely departure.

"I don't know -- I can't speak on that, but what I do know is that we have an exciting season; I know that everybody on the show is phenomenal; I know Laura's amazing; I know that we have exciting stories to tell again this season as we did the last. I can't wait for people to see it," she said.

Uzo Aduba, who plays Crazy Eyes, acknowledge the importance of having someone like Prepon on the set.

"She's been acting a very long time. I take her opinion very seriously," she said.

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black is set to make its return for season 2 at some point in 2014. The program is currently in production in New York. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series. The September SAG interview can be viewed below.
