'Tomorrow People' CW: Sneak Peek Shocking Decision From Luke Mitchell's Character, Dive Into John's Past VIDEO
Last week The Tomorrow People revealed how Cara Coburn's (Peyton List) breakout changed her life, and now the CW series will delve into the past of John Young (Luke Mitchell).
The leader of the underground movement used to work for Ultra and, unsurprisingly, the relationship seems to have soured somewhat. John and Dr. Jedikiah Price (Mark Pellegrino) are on opposite sides of a war, each working to protect their own species, although Price may take more deadly measures.
"There's a lot of history, a lot of drama there," List told E! of the pair's contentious relationship. "But throughout the first season, we keep flashing back to that relationship, and that's very exciting. It's not just, oh this is what it was, and this is where they stand. It's like, no this happened over years, and years, and years, so there's a lot to play with. There's a lot there that the both of them get to sort of figure out. It's good."
Since breakouts seem to happen when Homo Superiors are in their late teens, expect to see a young John in this week's episode "Kill or be Killed." While he, too, will have a tragic back story, Entertainment Weekly warns that before the credits roll John will have made a shocking decision. Perhaps it will have to do with an offer made by a fellow Ultra fugitive, Killian McCrane (Jason Dohring).
