Samira Wiley, who dons the recurring role of Poussey Washington in Orange Is The New Black, recently took the opportunity to speak about the upcoming sophomore season of the hit Netflix series.

On Oct. 28, Wiley sat down with Screencrush dish on just how far along the cast and crew are in the filming process, amongst other things.

"We're right in the middle of the season. I don't remember exactly what episode, but everyone's hard at work right now. Everyone's so anxious to get the new scripts, because we're still figuring out as it goes along, as well," she said.

When queried about her expectations for the second season, the actress summed it up by saying that fans will find it unpredictable.

" I don't really have too many expectations for season 2, I was just anxious to see what they were writing. It wasn't predictable to me, I don't think it's going to be predictable to anyone," Wiley added.

Wiley also mentioned that the show will be delving deeper into the backstories of its main characters, as viewers will become more and more familiar with who they really are.

"In season 2, we're gonna get deeper, we're gonna know who these ladies are on a deeper level, even if we don't get to how each got in prison. We'll see so much more of them, who they are, and what their morals are, what their alliances are. I think season 2 is going to be so much better than season 1," she said.

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black is set to make its return for season 2 at some point in 2014. The program is currently in production in New York. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series.
