Sleepy Hollow's Katrina will be getting quite a bit more screen time when the series returns from its brief respite with "Sin Eater."

While Sleepy Hollow fans know that Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is married to Katrina (Katia Winter) the witch, their relationship seems distant and unreal due to the gap in space and time between them. However, when Crane goes missing, Katrina must appear to Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) instead.

A rough cut of the "Sin Eater" intro was shown to fans at New York Comic Con and the lucky viewers got a glimpse at this meeting. After Crane is incapacitated by a tranquilizer dart, Mills finds herself in an incredibly creepy, abandoned house where she receives a warning from Katrina. The witch tells Mills that the Headless Horseman (Richard Cetrone) will return and the lieutenant must rescue her new cohort by sundown, according to Comic Book Resources.

As the episode plays out, fans will have the chance to find out more about Crane and Katrina's past.

"The flashbacks become more and more substantial in a few episodes time and you start to see the importance of Katrina, not only in Ichabod's past and how he switched from being a Red Coat to a Revolutionary, but also his position in the war against evil and then how that effects the present day," Mison said, according to Coming Soon.

While Mison admitted he would be amused to see how a 200-year-old witch would react to possibility of her husband falling in love with a modern woman, Winter explained that viewers will get to see how attached Crane and Katrina really are to each other.

"I think you guys haven't had the chance to actually see our connection and I think you're going to in upcoming episodes because there is a lot of chemistry there," Winter explained during the Fox drama's New York Comic Con panel, according to Comic Book Resources. "It's just that Katrina hasn't been featured as much. I can't wait for you to hear more from her and her back story."

Sleepy Hollow airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox. The program will return on Nov. 4 with "Sin Eater," a preview for which can be seen below.
