One of the primary stars of American Horror Story's first season might be coming back for season 3's Coven.

Connie Britton, who played Vivien Harmon in the first season of American Horror Story, recently revealed her interest in returning to the show.

"I hope so," Britton told Rolling Stone when asked if she would return to the show. "I've actually have been talking to them this season, because they're down in New Orleans and I'm in Nashville. I said, 'Okay, let's see if we can try to figure this out.'"

Britton is currently starring in the country music-themed ABC drama Nashville. The actress said she was willing to put on a witch hat and join production on American Horror Story: Coven, which centers around a group of witches.

"I'm like, 'I'll put that on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,'" she quipped. "Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I'm in. I hope it happens."

Britton is the only primary star from the first season that has not returned to American Horror Story. Britton's onscreen partner Dylan McDermott in the first season reappeared in season 2's Asylum. McDermott has also expressed interest in returning for Coven, explaining that he was working out a deal with the producers.

Several season 1 actors have returned for Coven after skipping Asylum, including Taissa Farmiga, Denis O'Hare, Jamie Brewer and Alexandra Breckenridge.

American Horror Story: Coven airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
