The tribes on Survivor: Blood vs. Water will merge together as one in the next episode of the long-running reality series.

On the next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, titled Skin of My Teeth, the tribes will drop their buffs at the Redemption Island duel and merge into one big tribe. Additionally, one of the competitors on Redemption Island (John Cody, Laura Boneham or Laura Morett) will come back into the game and join the already large tribe.

CBS released a promo for the episode showing many of the contestants expressing their happiness over making it to the merge. Hayden Moss notes that he feels safe with his group and Aras Baskauskas says that he feels like everyone thinks they're with him.

Fans can also expect the "season of blindsides" to continue, as the preview notes. The promo sets up the possibility of either an Aras or Vytas Baskauskas blindside at Tribal Council. Tyson Apostol and Monica Culpepper reaffirm their alliance together and Gervase Peterson notes that not everyone is on the same page.

If Tyson wants to continue with his campaign to vote out Aras, he will likely have the numbers to do so, considering he seems to have Caleb Bankston, Ciera Eastin, Gervase, Hayden and Monica on his side. However, Tina Wesson may not be okay with the plan considering the alliance she made with him previously in the game in addition to her closeness with Vytas.

Additionally, there is a whole other factor with the Redemption Island returnee coming back. The tribe may mobilize around sending that person back to Redemption Island as an easy first vote.

Survivor: Blood vs. Water airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
