'NCIS: LA' Season 5 Spoilers: Deeks and Kensi Major Stunt Work in 'Livelong Day', Behind the Scenes PHOTOS and Sneak Peek VIDEO
NCIS: Los Angeles is taking their fight from the streets to the rails in this week's "Live Long Day."
As the team investigates a murder, new evidence comes to light that reveals a possible threat to one of the areas trains. Originally billed as episode 505 and filmed directly after the series' 100th episode, the upcoming installment was moved to sixth in the lineup.
"You'll see planes in E.502...automobiles in E.503...you won't believe what we're bringing you in E.505! #ipromiseideliver #NCISLA #October," tweeted executive producer John Peter Kousakis back in August.
While battling crime on a train is an entirely new setup for the Los Angeles crew, the locale isn't the only thing viewers should be excited for. Callan (Chirs O'Donnell) and Co. will be upping the ante when it comes to stunt work.
"We are doing a pretty spectacular - let's call it a runaway train, which we start shooting next week," said series creator Shane Brennan in early September, accrdong to Xfinity. "It's a very challenging episode because we're using real trains. We are shooting in a number of places around town. It's going to be a real fun episode, but it's a complicated and very heart-stopping series of stunts."
Kousakis hinted at fights and run and jump tackles for Deeks (Eric Christain Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) while it looks like Callen and Sam (LL Cool J) will have an explosive encounter with a bomb.
Considering the episodes are being shown out of order, perhaps it is during "The Livelong Day' that Deeks chases a criminal with a flamethrower on a moving train? The character made a pointed reference to the incident in last week's "Big Brother," and it seems like the audience should have understood what he was referring to.
